Bespoke Furniture Making

Tables, chairs, shelving, desks, and statement pieces — each designed in close collaboration with you and made from scratch. Whether you have a clear vision or just a space you want to fill well, the process begins with a conversation.

Work is carried out in the workshop, with pieces delivered and installed once complete. Solid timber, plywood, and mixed-material designs are all possible; the right choice depends on the piece, the budget, and the context.

  • Dining and kitchen tables
  • Chairs and seating
  • Desks and home office furniture
  • Freestanding shelving and storage
  • Beds and bedroom furniture
  • One-off statement pieces

Built-in Cabinetry

Custom joinery fitted to the specific dimensions and character of your home. Built-ins done well look as though they were always there — the right proportions, the right reveal, the right finish for the room.

This work is carried out on site. A survey visit is always included at the start of a built-in project to take accurate measurements and understand the space properly before anything is made.

  • Alcove shelving and cupboards
  • Fitted wardrobes
  • Kitchen cabinetry
  • Under-stair storage
  • Home office built-ins
  • Media units and TV surrounds

Restoration & Upcycling

Many pieces are worth saving — structurally sound but worn, damaged, or no longer suited to their original purpose. Restoration is often a better choice than replacement, both economically and environmentally.

Work includes structural repairs, re-gluing and re-fitting of joints, surface refinishing, hardware replacement, and adaptation of pieces for new use. Bring what you have, or describe it, and we'll give you an honest assessment.

  • Structural repairs and re-jointing
  • Surface refinishing and stripping
  • Chair re-webbing and re-rushing
  • Conversion and adaptation

Kitchen Solutions

A fully bespoke kitchen is not always the right answer — but a standard flatpack kitchen rarely is either. Custom doors, drawer fronts, and panels made to fit IKEA or other standard carcasses give you a made-to-measure finish at a fraction of the cost of a fully custom build.

We also design and build complete kitchen cabinetry from scratch where the brief calls for it — particularly in awkward or non-standard spaces where off-the-shelf solutions don't fit.

  • Bespoke doors for IKEA SEKTION & METOD carcasses
  • Custom drawer fronts and panels
  • Plinths, cornices, and finishing details
  • Full bespoke kitchen cabinetry
  • Larder and pantry cupboards
  • Kitchen islands

Under-stairs Storage

The space under a staircase is almost always more useful than it looks. Fitted storage built around the exact geometry of your staircase — every angle accounted for — can add meaningful storage to a hallway or living space without taking up additional floor area.

Each project is surveyed individually. Solutions range from a simple run of drawers to a combination of cupboards, open shelving, and concealed storage depending on what the space can hold and what you need from it.

  • Fitted drawers and cupboards
  • Concealed storage with flush doors
  • Combination open and closed storage
  • Home office nooks
  • Integrated coat and shoe storage

How We Work

Most furniture is made in the workshop and delivered. Built-in and on-site joinery work is carried out in your home, with care taken to minimise disruption. We work across London and the surrounding area.

Every project begins with a free initial consultation — by phone, email, or in person. There is no minimum project size, though lead times vary depending on the current workload.
